Good point: The beach at Cape Panwa can be said to be a private one since there is only one way in-out to get to the beach and that is through the hotel. So if you want to be alone on the beach, here is where you’ll want to stay. All the rooms are elegantly decorated and face the Andaman Sea.

Bad Point: If you want to spend your weekend here, you’ll have to reserve a room beforehand. Be warned however, that you’ll be on a waiting list that can take months if not a year. Reserve quickly.

Summary: Cape Panwa Hotel deserves its 5-star status. The rooms are elegant and well-equipped with a view facing the sea. There are many facilitites and activites for you to enjoy in and around the hotel. Best of all, the beach is secluded and therefore tranquil and free from outsiders.

Cape Panwa Hotel: The atmosphere of the sea from up high at Cape Panwa

Cape Panwa is located towards the Southeastern part of Phuket Island. Here is also where you will find Tha Rua Nam Luk (a pier) and the marine museum. The fine white sand beach on this part of the island is well known to many, and the cape is also one of the most tranquil spots on the island. It’s no surprise that many high-end hotels are located here.

The hotel offers a handful of facilities and activities for you to enjoy such as the fitness center, the tennis court, the swimming pool, the spa and massage, wind surfing, and sailing. Since the water around this area is relatively calm, you wont have to worry about any dangers when partaking in marine activities. To reassure you even more, the hotel employs lifeguards to watch over you.

If you’re running on an empty stomach, refuel yourself at Panwa House. This modern-looking Sino-Portugese house is the hotel’s restaurant. Some of their recommended dishes include Pla Krapong Tom Yum Hang, Chuchi Koong, Kung Nampla Wan, Yum Som-O, and Namprik Koong Siab. These seafood dishes will make your mouth water.

Cape Panwa is known for having a superb beach of fine white sand, so what better way to appreciate such beauty than to spend your weekend in the tranquility of Cape Panwa Hotel. Not only are the rooms elegantly decorated, each room also has a view of the Andaman Sea. With plenty of activities to do nearby and the town within walking distance, this is the hotel you should be staying at.
