    Hearing the term 'walking street', many may think of Chiang Mai's famous Walking Street. However, other regions of Thailand also have walking streets. Lets travel south to Koh Samui and look for their walking street. We arrived on a Sunday and so headed towards Lamai's Walking Street on Lamai beach or better known as “Lamai Jai Dee”.     The Walking Street along Koyky Old Market in Ratchaburi; a relaxing promenade by Mae Klong River in rustic surroundings

    Though walking streets are found in almost all provinces in Thailand, the one in Ratchaburi is particularly interesting, because of its lay-out right next to Koyky Old Market, both of which spread lengthwise along the Mae Klong riverbank in the provincial center. Though Koyky Old Market does not offer enough items to attract tourists for shopping, the Walking Street next to it is unique in its location adjacent to the riverside. Such environmental condition is just right for it to be a different kind of walking street from the others in Thailand. Read More

    Hua Hin Night Market

    Located along Daechanuchit road, also known as Soi Hua Hin 72, is none other than the night market of Hua Hin town. During the day, the road is open for cars to drive, but as soon as the sun sets until midnight, the road transforms itself into a night market with stalls aligned along both sides of the road.
