Nopparat Thara Beach, Tranquility by the sea.

Nopparat Thara Beach also goes by another name; “Klong Haeng” which means dried-up canal. The reason for this name is because the low tide affects the nearby canal making it look as if its drying up. The low tide is one of the highlights of Nopparat Thara beach.

The tide lowers starting from 3 PM and continues until early evening. As a result, an expanse of sand which stretches 3 kilometers in length can be seen, thus making Nopparat Thara a nice place for an afternoon or evening stroll. The tide is so low it is possible to walk to one of the nearby islands. You can also end the day with beautiful sunset scenery.

Swimming by the beach, camping, and sunbathing are some of the activities you can do in this area. Dining is also an option. Nopparat Thara has a handful of restaurants to choose from.Nopparat Thara is also a pier for speedboats to take travelers to Poda Islands, Pai Island, Phi Phi Islands, Ao Nang, and many other attractions.

    • จุดเด่น:
    • The low tide opens up an expanse of land suitable for taking strolls on the beach to the nearby island. This side of the beach is tranquil compared to Ao Nang or Railey.
    • จุดด้อย:
    • Not a lot of parking space provided. The restaurants are the only amenity, and most have expensive menus.
    • ข้อสรุป:
    • Nopparat Thara is not an activity-based beach like Ao Nang or Railey. If you are looking for a quiet day at the beach, then this place is the place for you. The low tide, the highlight of the beach, begins at 3PM onwards and stretches for 3 kilometers, a good length for a stroll by the beach.
