Khanon temple is perhaps the only place in Thailand where we can learn the whole process of Nang Yai theatre. From the extensive collection of the puppets at the museum and the performance staged once a day in the compound, visitors can learn about the whole process of this theatrical art, beginning from the crafting puppets until how the performance is put up on stage. In recognition in its remarkable artistic value UNESCO has designated this classic Thai theatre as a world heritage.
