Good point: Gallery Drip Coffee is the first and only shop in Bangkok that has been fully using the drip brewing technique. The charm of drinking a drip brewing coffee is in its taste which runs through a paper filter making it not too light or too strong. The taste may vary in each drip brewing due to the differences of weight in the dripping. It is quite artistic and interesting experience at the same time.

Bad Point: The shop is quite small therefore there are only few seats to choose from thus it would be a bit cramp when there are lots of customers.

Summary: The shop is located in a very convenient spot. It is especially easy to drop by, for those who are walking around Siam Square and wishes to retreat from the hot weather to cool off with a cup of coffee. And those who haven’t had the chance to try the drip brewing coffee, tasting it may lead to great new experiences. Perhaps you would be pleased by the calm and homey atmosphere while waiting for your favorite drink.

Gallery Drip Coffee :A simple charm of coffee lovers.

Imagine every morning with pleasant scent of coffee, the pleasant taste remaining on your tongue, and the warmth from the cup of coffee in your hands. Many of you would want this to last forever. And for some others, these happy moments would occur during the afternoon in refreshing and energizing yourselves. Or maybe, some of you would like these moments to occur several times a day. Perhaps it is because you have fallen in love with this dark color beverage.

And the story of a coffee lover is not just a personal preference any longer when two coffee lovers have established a joint venture. A small but stylish coffee shop named “Gallery Drip Coffee” which is the one and only shop with Drip brewing coffee. With the charm of dripping hot water on to the grounded coffee beans, then wait for the water to seeps through the grounded coffee beans bringing out its scents and tastes then slowly runs through a paper filter making the taste differs from the pressure brewing that we all are familiar with. Therefore we recommended that those who had never experienced drinking a drip brewing coffee to try opening up to new experiences. You would surely be surprised by the brewing and the tasting. With the drip brewing method would make the same kind of coffee beans give out slightly different taste which all the staffs in Gallery Drip Coffee would gladly be answering all questions about Drip brewing coffee.

Make sure you always

  • The coffee beans from Gallery Drip Coffee is the Peaberry from Doi Chang

First, we started the drip brewed coffee menu with “Hot drip brewed coffee”  which they recommended us to drink without any sugar or cream so that it the original flavor and scent would remains. The charismatic feature of Gallery Drip Coffee is in each visit you may have a chance to taste new flavor from new kind of coffee beans. The shop rotates new kinds of coffee beans in each lot therefore you may have new experiences with a different taste of coffee. We would recommended you to try the hot drip brewing coffee by yourselves because words would not be enough to describe the sensation of bittersweet and sour tastes with all the scents mixed together. It depends on each person’s ability to taste in tasting what flavor is dominant in the cup. However for those who are not big fans of black coffee, there are a lot more of beverages for you to choose from such as hot or iced drip brewed milk coffee, milk coffee, milk tea, and matcha tea.

We would recommended you to try the “Coffee Jelly” which is coffee that is transform into soft jelly topped up with sweetened milk foam serve with syrup for those who like an additional sweetness. It is quite fun and tasty, drinking this beverage while poking the straw into the jelly making holes in them for the milk foam to flow in. And for those who doesn’t drink coffee try ordering “Matcha tea” with their “Soybean Cake” which is their special homemade menu that only sells in this shop. There are rough textures of grinded Soybean inside the cake texture but somehow still feels tender that we would say that this shop’s bakery is tasty and unique.

Besides drinking the drip brewed coffee, this shop also has an activity called “Cupping” which is coffee tasting. If you want new experiences to open up your perspective on coffee, we recommend you to join the activity. In addition you might have made friends with the person of the same appreciation in coffee and you would wish that these pleasant moments would last forever.
